1. Scheduling System Modes: Create different schedules for your smart home. When you’re home, have the thermostat set to a warmer (or cooler depending on the season) temperature with the lights set to a specific brightness. However, when you’re out of the house, create an “Away” mode for more conservative settings. You can also set the system to shut off the HVAC when a window is opened in the house. Once the window is closed, the schedule will resume as normal.

2. Media Sources: Turn them off – it’s that simple! You can easily make your home more energy efficient by turning off all media sources with the single touch of a button when leaving your home or if they are no longer in use.
